IBPS SO 2023 Qualifications

2. Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I) These fields offer four-year graduation degrees in agricultural engineering, horticulture, animal husbandry, veterinary science, dairy science, fishery science, pisciculture, agri marketing and cooperation, cooperative banking, and agro-forestry.




3. Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) Either a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the graduation level, or a postgraduate degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the graduating level.




4. Law Office (Scale I) a law bachelor’s degree and registration with the Bar Council as an advocate



5. HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) Full-Time Graduate Student Postgraduate degree or full-time diploma in human resources, labor relations, human resources development, social work, or labor law



6. Marketing Officer (Scale I) Graduates with a full-time MMS in Marketing, an MBA in Marketing, a full-time PGDBA, or a PGDBM with a marketing concentration




Age Limit for IBPS SO (as of 01/08/2023)

A candidate must be at least 20 years old to be eligible to take the IBPS SO test. The oldest person allowed is 30 years old. A candidate must have been born between the dates of 02.08.1993 and 01.08.2003, both inclusive. The Government of India grants age relaxation to applicants who fall under one of the reserved categories. Following is a discussion of the categories for which candidates for the IBPS SO position were awarded an age reduction:

Exam Instructions for IBPS SO 2023

For the purpose of choosing qualified applicants for the IBPS SO 2023 Exam, IBPS will adhere to the examination pattern provided below. In the past years initial test, IBPS adopted different subsection timing for each part. The updated IBPS SO Exam Pattern is now available for your review.


Candidates must pass the prelims cut-offs in order to be qualified to take the mains test. The preliminary exam will serve as a qualifying phase for the mains.

IBPS SO Ticket for 2023

Ten to fifteen days prior to the exam day, the IBPS SO 2023 admit card will be made available. Exam dates for the IBPS SO Mains exam are January 28, 2024, and the Preliminary exam is planned for December 30 and 31, 2023. Preliminary Exam admit cards are anticipated to be released in the first week of December 2023, and Main Exam admit cards in the second or third week of January 2024. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will receive an admission card for the main examination.

IBPS SO Examination 2023 Results

Following the completion of each exam phase successfully, the IBPS SO Result 2023 will be made public. The final merit list of chosen students is compiled using the combined scores from the main examination and the interview process. In order to narrow down the pool of candidates for the main exam, the Prelims exam is qualifying in character. In accordance with the candidates’ final exam scores, the merit list is created. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will receive the appointment letter from the bank of their choice.
