Every year Ministry of Education releases the invitation application for the participation of all the qualified and better-performing institutions for the National Institutional Ranking Framework for the ensuing year. In total, 5543 unique institutions applied for the ranking 2023 to rank themselves. In all, 8686 applications were received to participate under various categories, domains, sectors, and areas of specialization by these 5543 institutions.
