The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CHSL 2023 Notification PDF for the exam, which is scheduled to take place in 2023 and fill 1600 positions. SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 SSC CHSL (10 2) Exam includes Junior Clerk Junior Secretary Assistant Screening Assistant Screening Assistant and Data Entry Operator jobs. Application Fee for SSC CHSL 2023 • The application fee for the General Category is Rs. 100.

  • Exemption: Applicants who are female, SC, ST, physically disabled, or ex-servicemen are not required to pay a fee.

 

CHSL 2023 SSC Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for CHSL 2023 SSC Exam you have to fulfill 3 main eligibility criteria. The 3 parameters are given below:

Candidates for SSC CHSL nationality should be

(a) Indian Citizens or (b) Nepalese Citizens or (c) Bhutanese Citizens or (d) Tibetan Refugees who traveled to India 1 day ago. (e) East African countries Pakistan Myanmar Sri Lanka Kenya Uganda United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) People of Indian origin who migrated in January 1962 for permanent settlement in India; Zambia Malawi Zaire  Ethiopia and Vietnam for permanent residence in India.

Between the ages of 18 and 27 old is the maximum age for the positions. Applicants must have been born between January 8, 2005 and February 8, 1996 to be eligible. Following are the categories for which there may be allowed age relaxations:

Educational requirements for SSC CHSL as of 01/08/2023

Except for DEOs in C&AG, LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, and DEOs: Candidates for the CHSL 2023 exam must have completed the 12th Standard or an exam of an equal level from a recognized Board or  University.

You must have passed your 12th grade in the science stream from an accredited board or equivalent to be eligible to work as a data entry operator (DEO) in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General  (C&AG) of the Indian Government.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) at two distinct phases for a range of positions:

English Language Exams for SSC CHSL Tier 1: Identify the Mistake Fill-in-the-Blanks, Synonyms/ Homonyms, Antonyms, Spelling/ Identifying Misspelled Words, Idioms and Phrases, replacement of one word, Sentences that are better Verb tense, conversion to direct or indirect narration, and active/passive voice of verbs Sentence fragment switching, passage switching, comprehension passage switching are some examples of sentence fragment switching.

Questions of both the verbal and nonverbal variety would fall under the category of general intelligence. Percentages, ratios and proportions, square roots, averages, interest (simple and compound), profit and loss , and  compound interest are all examples of basic mathematical operations . Discounts, partnerships , combinations, and allegations Travel and time; work and time .

 

Elementary surds (basic problems), school algebra, and graphs of linear equations all use fundamental algebraic identities.

Knowledge of fundamental geometrical figures and facts Triangle and the different centers inside it, Triangles that are similar and congruent Circle, its chords, tangents, angles that a circle’s chords subtend, as well as shared tangents between two or more circles.

 

 

 

Mensuration includes triangles, quadrilaterals , regular polygons, circles, right pyramids with square or triangular bases, right circular cones, right circular cylinders, spheres, and hemispheres.

 

Trigonometry: Heights and distances (basic questions only) Trigonometric ratios Complementary angles eg sin2 cos2 = 1 General symbols Use of tables and graphs in statistical tables: Histograms Frequency Polygons Bar charts Pie charts. : The purpose of these questions is to gauge a candidate’s overall understanding of the environment and how it relates to society.  The questions are designed to assess a literate persons knowledge and general observations and experiences of current events in a scientific sense. The exam also includes the study of India and its neighbours especially its history culture geography economy public policy and science.

Important Information

  • There is a negative marking policy in place for the SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Exam. A question’s incorrect response results in a 0.5 point deduction for each component.
  • For candidates who are visually impaired, the exam lasts 75 minutes.

Syllabus for SSC CHSL Tier 2

This descriptive test is designed to evaluate candidates’ writing skills in Hindi or English. The Letter/Application would be between 150 and 200 words, and the Essay would be between 200 and 250 words. A minimum of 33% must be achieved in order to qualify for Tier II. Performance at Tier II will be accounted for in the merit calculation. The best way to prepare for the same is to read a lot of articles from different media. Additionally, you need to be fully conversant with application and letter formats.
