    Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Police Recruitment 2023

    To be eligible for the Delhi Police Constable 2023 Exam, the applicant must meet the four requirements listed below:

    1) Citizenship/Nationality

    Candidates must be Indian citizens.

    2) Educational Background

    On the closing date for online applications, the candidate must have passed 10+ 2 (Senior Secondary) from any recognized school board.

    Relaxable up to the eleventh pass only for:

    1. i) Only musicians, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., from the Delhi Police Department.
    1. ii) Sons of serving, dead, or retired police officers, including Delhi Police MultiTasking Staff. 

    3) Age restriction

    The candidate’s age must be between 18 and 25.The above-mentioned upper age restriction will be relaxed only in the following circumstances: –

    (i) A Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidate may serve for up to 5 year

    (ii) A maximum of three years for an OBC candidate.

    iii) A maximum of five years for distinguished athletes who have represented a State at the National level or a Country at the International level in sports in the three years preceding the closing date for online applications.

    1. iv) In the case of Delhi Police departmental applicants, the upper age restriction may be relaxed by up to 40 years for the general category (UR), 43 years for OBCs, and 45 years for SCs/STs.
    1. v) as well as sons of active, retired, or deceased Delhi Police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of the Delhi Police are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of 29 years.

     

    4) Necessary Requirement

    As of the date of PE&MT, the candidate must have a valid LMV (Motorcycle or Car) driving license for the position of Const. (Exe.) Male in the Delhi Police. A learner’s permit is not accepted.

    To be eligible for the Delhi Police Constable 2023 Exam, the applicant must meet the four requirements listed below:

    1) Citizenship/Nationality

    Candidates must be Indian citizens.

    2) Educational Background

    On the closing date for online applications, the candidate must have passed 10+ 2 (Senior Secondary) from any recognized school board.

    Relaxable up to the eleventh pass only for:

     

    1. i) Only musicians, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., from the Delhi Police Department.

    3) Age restriction

    (i) A Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidate may serve for up to 5 years.

    (ii) A maximum of three years for an OBC candidate.

    iii) A maximum of five years for distinguished athletes who have represented a State at the National level or a Country at the International level in sports in the three years preceding the closing date for online applications.

     

    1. iv) In the case of Delhi Police departmental applicants, the upper age restriction may be relaxed by up to 40 years for the general category (UR), 43 years for OBCs, and 45 years for SCs/STs.
